1. Introduction
	Inciter Vulnerability Manager is a vulnerability assessment tool that detects security vulnerability of computer systems, provides information on detected problems and that prevents systems from hacking attacks and other crimes in cyber space. Inciter Vulnerability Manager provides users with information that enables them to arrange highly sophisticated security management policies by identifying the security status of systems.

	It enables users to conduct a fast and precise scan on the status of security vulnerability and to selectively search for factors that seem vulnerable, which makes it efficient to manage security issues. You are also able to get vulnerability scan reports that include significance of detected vulnerabilities, vulnerability ID, and detailed descriptions.

	It supports the function of scanning a variety of operating systems and applications provided by Microsoft.

- Administration of Inspection Result

	Using report related functions such as “Export Report” and “Import Report”, you are able to administer vulnerability scan results.

	It provides up-to-date information on vulnerability based on information security technology of Microsoft. It also provides a variety of reports information on detected vulnerabilities including CVE ID, Microsoft Bulletin ID, Security Focus BID and SANS Report along with detailed description of individual security vulnerabilities. The vulnerability pattern is updated at least once a month.

3. Major Functions

- Scan Function

		It scans and detects vulnerabilities in computer systems.
		It provides basic information on system including computer name, operating system, IP address and MAC address.
		It provides information on the number of detected vulnerabilities sorted according to the severity.
		It evaluates the level of vulnerabilities according to the scan result.
		It provides various information on each individual vulnerability item including CVE ID, MS Bulletin ID, Security Focus BID and SANS Report.
		It provides detailed description and relevant website link of each vulnerability item.

- Scan Configuration Function

		You can either include or exclude items to scan
		You can search for a specific vulnerability item using CVE ID
		A variety of information on each individual vulnerability item including CVE ID, MS Bulletin ID, Security Focus BID and SANS Report is available.
		A detailed description and relevant website link of each vulnerability item are provided.

- Report Function

		You can export a scanned result as a text file.
		You can import a saved report file.

- Update Function

		You can find out the version of Inciter Vulnerability Manager and vulnerability pattern version.
		We provide added vulnerability information and updated modules using update function
